PHILOSOPHY

What little recorded Dölgöthran philosophy there is comes from the preserved writings of individual Conspirators, and these documents are incredibly rare. Most of what has been found centers on the supremacy of the species, and the unchallenged wisdom of the Consipracy and its ages-old plots. For the Conspiracy, discussion of genetics, mutation, and recombinant RNAs are as integral a part of their philosophy as any views on the Immortals, and there are treastises on the best mechanisms to subvert authorities, tips on how to best manipulate situations to produce maximal effect with minimal effort, and multiple catalogs of the many tactics on waking and successfully indoctrinating Sleepers.

Too, the members of the Conspiracy clearly bear the conviction that their Shapeshifting represents supremacy over the other sentient species, and that any species which is limited in this aspect deserves to be enslaved for the greater good of other, more enlightened folk. Other creatures with Shapeshifting abilities are regarded as unawakened equals – or rivals – but in either case lacking only information to make them worthy of the world the Conspiracy works towards.

Philosophy outside of the Inner Circle tends to drift towards more typical discussions, and leans on other Cultural norms - occasionally with some of the Conspiracy’s influence, depending on the intent of the writer.
